Ministries of education around the world from Brazil to Italy and universities such as the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Peking University, and Tokyo University are already using the EF SET for English assessment in secondary and tertiary education settings.
The EF SET was designed to the same high standards as the Cambridge Exams, IELTS, and TOEFL. Your students will receive an reliable EF SET score and detailed explanation of their results in alignment with the Common European standards (CEFR), and as it relates to other English level tests such as IELTS and TOEFL.
Low Coordination at No Cost
Say goodbye to extra paperwork! Because of its online accessibility open-access methodology, EF SET allows schools and ministries to consider implementing large-scale English testing where previously such a plan would have been cost-prohibitive.
Coordination efforts are minimal because the test is available online—offering the flexibility to allow your students to take their English test at home or for you to proctor test sessions in your school.
How to Start Using EF SET
The EF English Proficiency Index for Schools (EF EPI-s) is a study of the acquisition of English skills by secondary and tertiary students. Upon completion of testing, participating schools receive customized reports with their students’ EF SET scores and CEFR levels and comparisons between groups of students of interest to the institution. Continuous assessment of English language skills using a standard set of assessment tools allows us to pinpoint areas for improvement and reveal successful strategies at the institutional, national, and international levels.
