Welcome to the website and online services (the ‘Site’) for the EF Standard English Test, a free standardized English test service online developed and operated by EF Education First. By visiting or using EF SET or using the information, tools, features and functionality (the “Services”) located on the Site, you are entering into a binding contract with EF Education First (“EF”), whether you are a "Visitor" (which means that you simply browse the Site) or you are a "User" (which means that you have used the services on the Site.) The term "you" refers to a Visitor or a User. The term "we" refers to EF and its affiliates.
In order to use the Services, you need to (a) be 16 or older, or be 13 or older and have your parent or guardian’s consent to these Terms, and (b) have the power to enter into a binding contract with us and not be barred from doing so under any applicable laws. You also warrant that any registration information that you submit to us is true, accurate and complete, and you agree to keep it that way at all times. Before you continue, you should print or save a local copy of this Agreement for your records.
Occasionally we may, in our discretion, make changes to the Services and the Agreement. We may also, at any time, discontinue part or all operation of the Services or selectively disable certain aspects of the Services or portions of the Site. Any modification or elimination of the Services will be done in our sole and absolute discretion and without an ongoing obligation or liability to you, and your use of the Site and Services do not entitle you to the continued provision or availability of the Site and Services.
These Terms will continue to apply to you until terminated by either you or EF. EF may terminate the Terms or suspend your access to the Services at any time, including in the event of your actual or suspected unauthorized use of the Services or non-compliance with the Terms. If you or EF terminate the Terms, or if EF suspends your access to the Services, you agree that EF shall have no liability or responsibility to you, to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law.
